Friendsight, LLC was founded by Carrie Friend, a constantly curious observer and a seeker of inspiration.

Carrie has broad client side and consulting experience across a number of different categories. She started Friendsight, LLC in early 2005 after spending the previous 6 years at Fusion 5, an Innovation Marketing firm, where she built and led the insight practice, pioneering innovative and non-traditional tools and methodologies. Her belief in getting inside the heads, hearts and souls of both consumers/customers and clients allowed her to discover and develop proprietary and actionable insights that strongly influenced marketing and business decisions.

Prior to Fusion 5, Carrie spent 10 years on the client side in consumer and product research management at Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut and M&M/Mars. She was responsible for managing research on many high profile brands including Minute Maid Orange Juice, Minute Maid Lemonades and Punches, Stuffed Crust Pizza, Starburst, Skittles, and M&M Chocolate Candies.

Carrie holds an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Research from Wichita State University and a BS in Food Science from Cornell University. Her professional affiliations include the American Marketing Association, QRCA, and Vista research consultants.

Beyond pouring her time and energy into Friendsight, Carrie is actively involved in the community with Monroe Congregational Church and Habitat for Humanity. She enjoys the peace, beauty and inspiration of the outdoors, from the mountains to the ocean, through hiking, camping, swimming and skiing, and reflects and captures that world through reading, yoga and photography. The most important part of her life is her family and friends, including her husband Josh and three kids, Noah, Manaia and Luisa.
